Congo Tetras (Phenacogrammus interruptus) are larger African schooling fish with iridescent gold, blue, and violet coloration. Mature males develop especially long, flowing fins.
They are peaceful but need more swimming room than typical nano tetras.
Care Notes
Give Congo Tetras horizontal swimming room and a varied diet. Avoid cramped tanks and aggressive fin-nipping tank mates.
