Emerald Dwarf Rasboras (Microdevario kubotai) carry a vivid neon yellow-green colouration — genuinely unusual in freshwater fish. At under an inch, a school of 12–15 in a planted tank with open swimming space is one of the most eye-catching nano fish displays available.
Native to streams in Myanmar, they prefer clean, well-oxygenated water with moderate flow and dense planting. Peaceful, safe with shrimp and snails. Every fish we ship is quarantined before departure.
Care Notes
Emerald Dwarf Rasboras need appropriately small food: micro pellets, micro worms, baby brine shrimp. Feed twice daily in small amounts. They prefer well-planted tanks with open swimming space and moderate flow. Bright lighting makes their neon yellow-green colouration most vivid.
Keep in groups of at least 8–10. Small groups are nervous; larger schools display constant movement and more confident behaviour. Peaceful with all tank mates their own size and safe with adult shrimp.
