Golden White Cloud Mountain Minnows are the golden-yellow colour variant of the classic White Cloud, with a warm flush replacing the silver-green of the standard form. The golden body against the iridescent stripe and red fin accents is distinctive in a school under good lighting.
One of the hardiest nano fish available, ideal for unheated setups, outdoor ponds in temperate climates, and as starter fish for new planted tanks. Every fish we ship is quarantined before departure.
Care Notes
Golden White Cloud Mountain Minnows are cold-water fish that prefer 60–72°F and can tolerate unheated tanks. They do not do well in warm tropical tanks — avoid pairing with fish requiring 78°F or above. Otherwise extremely hardy and adaptable, tolerating a wide pH range and moderate water quality.
Keep in groups of at least 6–8. Active schooling fish that prefer open swimming space and moderate flow. Peaceful with all tank mates and safe with adult shrimp. The golden colouration is brightest in cool, clean, well-oxygenated water.
