Pom Pom Crabs are primarily nocturnal and spend much of their time exploring hardscape, plants, and hiding places throughout the aquarium. Their secretive nature makes spotting them especially rewarding, and they become more active as they settle into their environment.
These crabs do best in well-established aquariums with plenty of cover, including driftwood, rocks, mosses, and live plants. They are excellent additions to species tanks or carefully selected community aquariums.
